Fort Knox Storage in Eltham is located next to the Karingal Yallock Creek and heritage listed gardens, in the old hat factory building.

Eltham customers can access storage units from 6am to 9pm, 365 days a year. Security includes movement sensors and 24 hour camera surveillance and individual door alarms on each storage unit. A feature for the locals is our subterranean storage, which is popular for storing valuables during the fire season. What’s more, we have trolleys, a walkie stacker and pallet jack that customers can use.

In addition, we have a temperature and humidity controlled wine cellar, with a large range of storage sizes.

We also sell moving boxes, packing supplies and wine storage boxes at low prices.

The staff at Fort Knox Eltham are absolute professionals, super helpful, very welcoming and friendly.The facility is clean and very well kept, everything works as it should and there is always availability of items to help moving things around (trolleys etc.).if you need storage, Eltham Fort Knox is highly recommended.

I stored my wine for 10 years here. Never had a bottle that didn't age well. Staff were always courteous and helpful and the team were quick to inform me of any dramas (the floods of 2011 come to mind - everything was fine!). The place was very secure and always 15 degrees. Would recommend to anyone who collects and wants to store their wine for ageing. Also used their "normal" storage when moving house and had much the same experience. Thanks

We recently have taken a space at Eltham. Although the sign up process was quite long, the whole process from sign up, to start using the space was seamless, and easy to understand. The guys in the office are friendly and helpful. We hired the moving Van which was a super benefit, as so far it only took 1 move to clear the majority of our boxes/ furniture. The pricing is very competitive, Caltex is across the road for refilling the hire Van, the contract is quite flexible allowing for a weekly arrangement getting close to any closing of the contract. Access is 7 days. I highly recommend Fort Know Self Storage. I have used Alphington and now we are using Eltham site. I haven't any complaints. Boxes, wrapping paper, plastic, tape are all available on site for purchase. This is a great option for anyone looking for short term or medium term storage.

A lot of other businesses could learn from Fort Knox Eltham in regards to customer service, cleanliness and presentation. We eat out a lot as we travel OZ and I don’t think yet I have been to a restaurant that comes close to Eltham in these important areas and this is a storage facility. Fort Knox Eltham is awesome. So easy, staff are the best and they have it all and nothing is a bother. The Day we moved out it was raining and went to reception to see if there was something to cover a couch and OF COURSE there was! A great plastic slip to go over it and reasonable priced considering they have no competition - just wish we had something else to store 🙂 A++++++++++

The facility was very accommodating of my needs. I started off with 3 units (a large one wasn't available so Fort Knox made up the size of Unit I needed with smaller ones). We then added a 4th unit and gradually cleared these out. Friendly and helpful staff, great location, reasonable cost.
